What to Expect

Visiting a new church can be intimidating. We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

When are services?
Services are on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m..

Will I be singled out as a visitor?
No.  We make a general announcement to welcome visitors during the service, but we don’t expect you to wear a nametag, or stand up and introduce yourself.

What should I wear?
Anything you want.  While you may see a few people in suits and ties, most are casually dressed, often in jeans or even shorts.  Our focus is not on who wears what, but whether people are connecting–with God and with their neighbor.

Where do my children go?
Grace Baptist Children’s Ministries are the perfect place for your children to go learn and worship while you learn and worship!  We offer nursery for infants through pre-school, Sunday School for all ages during First Service and Children’s Church for children Kindergarten through 2nd grade during Second Service.  If you need help finding your child’s class, please don’t hesitate to ask.  There’s always someone around happy to help!

Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don’t expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let the offering basket pass you by. If you consider Grace Baptist your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider giving in support of our ministry. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can give online through our website.

What will I experience?
Our Sunday morning services are designed with you in mind.  Worship includes a lot of contemporary choruses with a few traditional hymns and we display the lyrics on the screen to help you follow along.  Then, you will experience a powerful, yet simple message from God’s Word.

Our desire is that Grace Baptist Church will be a place that God will visit you in a special way.
